Control Enclosures

Heavy-wall enclosures, typically cast aluminum or stainless steel, designed to contain an internal explosion and prevent ignition of the surrounding atmosphere (Ex d / flameproof). Used in Zone 1 / Division 1 areas for switches, controls, and high-energy devices.

Terminal and junction boxes built to the increased-safety method (Ex e), which prevents arcs and excessive temperatures through robust construction and creepage spacing rather than flame containment. Common for field wiring termination and marshalling in classified areas.

Enclosures molded from glass-fiber reinforced polyester or other engineered plastics, offering high corrosion resistance and light weight for coastal, offshore, and chemically aggressive environments. Often used for instrument and junction boxes where metallic corrosion is a concern.

Fabricated 304 or 316/316L stainless enclosures for instrument protection and control panels in corrosive, washdown, and marine settings. Selected where durability and resistance to chlorides and produced fluids are required.

Enclosures fitted with heaters, insulation, sunshades, vortex coolers, or HVAC to handle arctic cold or desert heat, keeping internal equipment within its operating temperature range. Specified for instrument protection in extreme-climate fields.

Sealing fittings, drains, breathers, mounting hardware, and gland plates that maintain an enclosure's ingress and area-classification rating at cable entry points. Hazardous-area glands are certified to match the enclosure's protection method.

Larger floor- or wall-mounted cabinets housing distributed control, PLC, power-distribution, and marshalling equipment. Configured with internal subpanels, wireways, and thermal management for system integration.
