Turbine Flow Meters

Axial-rotor meters for clean, low-viscosity liquids such as crude oil, refined products, condensate, and water. They form the core of liquid custody-transfer and allocation metering across the API output frequency range.

Meters built for natural gas and other gases, with rotor and bearing designs sized for low gas density. They are applied to fuel-gas, fiscal, and station metering and are typically referenced to AGA Report No. 7.

A small rotor inserted through a fitting into a larger pipe to sample local velocity, which is scaled to full-pipe flow. They suit large lines, water injection, and applications where a full-bore meter is impractical.

Small-bore, tight-tolerance meters for chemical injection, additive dosing, methanol, and corrosion-inhibitor flows. They deliver high-resolution K-factors at low flow rates for accurate batching.

Tube-bundle or perforated-plate conditioners and metering spools that remove swirl and flatten the velocity profile upstream of the rotor. Correct upstream/downstream straight run is required to meet rated accuracy.

Magnetic or RF/modulated-carrier pickoff coils with preamps that convert blade passage into a pulse train, and flow computers that apply the K-factor, totalize, and correct to standard conditions. These enable custody accounting and SCADA integration.

Pipe provers, small-volume (compact) provers, and master meters used to determine and verify a turbine meter's K-factor and meter factor. Periodic proving maintains traceable accuracy in fiscal service.
