Gas Detection Systems

Handheld or clip-on single- and multi-gas monitors worn by workers or carried into the field to provide personal exposure alarms for H2S, combustibles, oxygen, and other gases. Common in confined-space entry, wellsite work, and area surveys.

Permanently installed sensors that continuously monitor a specific location and report concentration to a central controller or shutdown system. Used at compressor stations, separation areas, and process equipment where a leak source is localized.

Detectors and monitoring networks dedicated to hydrogen sulfide, the highly toxic gas common in sour oil and gas, typically using electrochemical sensors. Includes wellsite monitors, perimeter systems, and personal H2S monitors.

Detectors that sense flammable gases such as methane and other hydrocarbons, measuring concentration as a percentage of the lower explosive limit. They use catalytic bead or infrared sensing to warn of explosive atmospheres.

Optical detectors that project an infrared beam across an open area and measure gas concentration along the beam path or at a point. Effective for wide-area methane and hydrocarbon coverage at facilities and fence lines.

Infrared cameras that visualize hydrocarbon and methane gas plumes, allowing operators to locate and quantify leaks. Widely used for LDAR emissions surveys and rapid leak source identification.

Central units that receive signals from multiple detectors, manage alarm thresholds, display readings, and initiate visual, audible, or shutdown responses. They form the control layer linking field sensors to facility safety systems.
