Three-Phase Separators

Cylindrical vessels mounted horizontally that maximize the gas-liquid interface area and provide long, stable oil-water settling zones. They are the preferred configuration for high liquid loads and for streams requiring effective oil-water separation.

Upright cylindrical vessels with a smaller plot footprint, well suited to high gas-to-liquid ratios and to streams carrying significant sand or solids that settle to a conical or flat bottom for removal.

A configuration using an upper barrel for gas separation and a lower barrel for liquid retention, increasing effective liquid residence time without enlarging the gas section. Used where high liquid volumes coincide with high gas flow.

Three-phase vessels optimized to remove the bulk of free water upstream of treating, leaving oil with reduced water content and a separate water stream; they prioritize water removal over fine gas separation.
