Hangers & Slips

Casing hangers that use segmented tapered slips with wickered teeth to grip the casing body when the string is lowered into the head bowl. They allow the casing to be hung off without threading, making them suited to fast field installation and reciprocating or rotating the string during cementing.

One-piece hangers that thread onto or are run as part of the casing string and land on a shoulder in the casing head or spool to transfer load. They typically provide a more robust, higher-pressure seal interface than slip types and are common where annulus access or premium sealing is required.

Two-piece slip-and-seal hangers that wrap around the casing at the rig floor without removing the string from the slips, used to hang off and seal casing after it has been landed. They are favored for retrofit and field installation where the string cannot be picked up to install a one-piece hanger.

Tubing hangers that thread onto the top of the production tubing and land in the tubing head or spool, supporting the tubing string and sealing the tubing-by-casing annulus. They commonly carry bores or penetrations for downhole control lines, hydraulic lines, and electrical connectors.

Tubing hangers that grip the tubing with slip segments rather than a threaded connection, allowing the tubing to be landed and supported without making up a hanger on the string. They are used where rapid hang-off and accurate tubing space-out are needed.

Hangers designed to suspend a continuous coiled tubing string used as production conduit or velocity string, gripping the smooth, un-upset coiled tubing body and sealing against it. They support coiled-tubing completions where conventional threaded tubing hangers do not apply.

Concentric hanger components run as part of a mudline suspension system to land and support multiple casing strings at or near the seabed in surface-completed offshore wells. They allow the well to be temporarily abandoned and later tied back to a surface wellhead.

Energizable seal assemblies, packoff bushings, and seal sub-assemblies that isolate the casing or tubing annulus around a landed hanger. Available in elastomer and metal-to-metal configurations selected for the well's pressure, temperature, and fluid service.
