Dry or slurried polymers such as guar, hydroxypropyl guar (HPG), and carboxymethyl guar that build viscosity in frac fluid to transport proppant. Supplied as dry guar powder or liquid gel concentrates for continuous-mix systems.

Borate or metallic (zirconate, titanate) additives that link polymer chains to form crosslinked gel, sharply increasing viscosity and proppant-carrying capacity at elevated temperature. Selected by formation temperature and target pH window.

Oxidizers (persulfates), enzymes, or acids that degrade the polymer gel after placement so fluid can flow back, restoring fracture conductivity. Encapsulated breakers use a coating to delay release until the treatment is complete.

Filming amines and other organic inhibitors that protect treating iron, tubulars, and downhole equipment from acids and produced fluids during acid stimulation and fracturing. Dosed to a target protection level for a given acid strength and temperature.

Oxidizing or non-oxidizing antimicrobials (glutaraldehyde, THPS, quaternary amines, chlorine dioxide) added to frac and makeup water to control sulfate-reducing and acid-producing bacteria, limiting souring, corrosion, and biofouling.

Packages for matrix acidizing and acid fracturing built around hydrochloric, acetic, or formic acid with iron-control agents, mutual solvents, and inhibitors to dissolve carbonate and near-wellbore damage.

Surface-active agents that reduce interfacial tension to aid flowback, plus foaming agents for energized/foamed fracs and defoamers that suppress unwanted foam in mixing and flowback handling.

Buffers that hold fluid pH in the range required for stable crosslinking and breaking, and diverting agents (degradable particulates, viscous or chemical diverters) that redistribute treatment across multiple zones or perforation clusters.
