Electric Frac

Trailer- or skid-mounted high-pressure pumps driven by electric motors and variable-frequency drives in place of a diesel engine and transmission. They deliver fracturing horsepower at the wellhead while drawing medium-voltage power from on-site generation or the grid.

Natural-gas-fueled gas turbine or reciprocating-engine generator packages that produce the electrical power for an e-frac fleet. They typically run on field gas, wellhead gas, or pipeline/CNG/LNG supply to displace diesel at the prime mover.

Medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, cabling, and connection panels that route generated or grid power to each pump and ancillary unit. This equipment manages load balancing, protection, and safe energization across the spread.

Electrically driven blender trailers that combine base fluid, proppant, and chemical additives into fracturing slurry. Electric drive replaces the blender's diesel engine and provides precise control of mixing and discharge rates.

Motor-driven hydration units and chemical-additive systems that prepare gelled or friction-reduced fluids ahead of the blender. Electrification of these units allows metered, continuously controlled additive injection.

Kits and pump packages that let diesel engines substitute natural gas for part of their fuel (dual fuel) or that meet EPA Tier 4 emissions limits. These serve as a transitional alternative to fully electric pumping where electric power is not available.

Centralized control and data systems that monitor and coordinate pumps, generation, and distribution across an electric fleet from a data van. They manage power dispatch, rate and pressure control, and equipment health for the integrated spread.
