Tier 2 Frac Pump Trailers
Trailer-mounted units pairing a Tier 2 high-horsepower diesel engine, transmission, and high-pressure plunger pump, forming the core pumping element of a diesel frac spread. Typically rated around 2,250 to 2,500 hydraulic horsepower per unit.
Diesel Engine Power Packages
The Tier 2 compression-ignition engine, cooling system, and drivetrain that drive the fluid end. These mechanical-drive packages run on ultra-low-sulfur diesel without the aftertreatment required by later emission tiers.
Triplex and Quintuplex Fluid Ends
The high-pressure pump section with three (triplex) or five (quintuplex) plungers that pressurizes frac fluid and proppant slurry. Fluid ends are consumable wear parts replaced on a high-duty cycle during fracturing.
Blender and Hydration Units
Diesel-driven equipment that mixes base fluid, gelling chemicals, and proppant into the slurry delivered to the pumps. Hydration units pre-condition gel systems before blending.
Data Vans and Frac Control Units
Cabin-mounted monitoring and control centers that coordinate pump rates, treating pressure, and chemical addition across the spread during a stimulation job.
Manifold and Missile Trailers
Trailers carrying the high-pressure flow iron, suction (low-pressure) manifold, and discharge (missile) headers that route fluid between blender, pumps, and wellhead.
Tier 2 Frac Fleet Refurbishment and Repower
Services that rebuild, recertify, or upgrade existing Tier 2 spreads, including engine overhauls, transmission service, and fluid-end replacement to extend fleet life.
