Injection Tubing

Tubing strings for waterflood, produced-water reinjection, and disposal wells that carry treated water or brine into the formation for pressure maintenance and sweep. Often specified in carbon steel with internal coating or in corrosion-resistant alloy where dissolved oxygen, CO2, or H2S is present.

Strings designed to inject hydrocarbon gas, nitrogen, or other gases for pressure maintenance or miscible gas flood. They are sized and rated for high injection pressures and managed for Joule-Thomson cooling and erosion at high gas velocities.

Tubing for CO2 enhanced oil recovery, carbon storage, and acid-gas (CO2/H2S) disposal, where wet CO2 forms carbonic acid. Typically run in corrosion-resistant alloys such as 13Cr, duplex, or higher-grade stainless to resist sweet and sour corrosion.

Small-diameter capillary or control-line tubing strapped to the production string or run separately to deliver corrosion inhibitor, scale inhibitor, methanol, or demulsifier to a downhole injection point. Commonly 316/825/A625 stainless or encapsulated control line.

Continuous, spoolable tubing run without threaded joints to inject fluids such as nitrogen, acid, or treatment chemicals during well intervention and stimulation. Enables live-well deployment and removal without a workover rig.

Tubing manufactured from martensitic, duplex, or austenitic stainless and nickel-base alloys for service in CO2, H2S, chlorides, and acidic injectates. Material selection follows ISO 15156 / NACE MR0175 for sour-service environments.

Carbon-steel tubing with an internal organic coating, cement lining, or fiberglass/composite liner to protect against corrosion and reduce internal friction in water and disposal service. A cost alternative to solid CRA where mechanical conditions permit.

Threaded couplings, premium gas-tight connections, packers, expansion joints, and pup joints that make up and seal the injection string. Connection makeup and thread gauging follow API Spec 5B, with premium connections qualified to API RP 5C5 / ISO 13679.
