Seamless Casing
Casing produced from a solid steel billet that is pierced and rolled without a longitudinal weld seam, giving uniform wall properties favored for higher-pressure and deeper wells.
Welded (ERW) Casing
Casing formed from rolled steel strip and joined by electric resistance welding along a longitudinal seam, commonly used for shallower wells and lower-pressure surface and conductor strings.
Surface and Conductor Casing
The largest-diameter, shallowest strings run early in the well to stabilize the top of the hole, support subsequent strings, and protect shallow fresh-water zones.
Intermediate and Production Casing
Deeper strings set to isolate troublesome formations and to provide the final cemented conduit through which the well is completed and produced.
API Buttress Connection Casing
Casing supplied with the API 5B buttress (BTC) thread, a square-shouldered profile providing higher joint strength than round threads for general field service.
Premium Connection Casing
Casing finished with proprietary metal-to-metal sealing threads that deliver gas-tight integrity and high torque capacity for HPHT, deviated, and gas wells.
Sour-Service (NACE/H2S) Casing
Casing in controlled-hardness grades qualified for hydrogen sulfide environments to resist sulfide stress cracking in sour oil and gas reservoirs.
Casing Accessories
Run-in and cementing hardware such as float collars, float shoes, centralizers, and casing couplings used to land and cement a casing string.
