Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Coating
A thermoset epoxy powder applied electrostatically to heated pipe, where it fuses into a thin, tightly bonded anti-corrosion film. Used as a standalone external coating or as the first layer in multilayer systems.
Three-Layer Polyethylene (3LPE) Coating
A composite external coating of an FBE primer, a copolymer adhesive, and an outer high-density polyethylene jacket. Provides strong corrosion protection plus mechanical and impact resistance for buried and onshore pipelines.
Three-Layer Polypropylene (3LPP) Coating
Similar to 3LPE but with a polypropylene topcoat, offering higher temperature tolerance and abrasion resistance for hot-service, deep-water, or directionally drilled pipelines.
Field Joint Coating
On-site coating of girth welds and other locations left bare during installation, using systems compatible with the adjacent mill coating such as heat-shrink sleeves, liquid epoxy, or field-applied FBE.
Cement Mortar Lining
An internal cement layer applied to the pipe bore that protects against internal corrosion and provides a smooth surface for water and slurry service. Often paired with an external coating for buried lines.
Fire Protection and Intumescent Coating
Epoxy intumescent and fire-resistive coatings applied to structural steel, vessels, and supports that swell or char when heated to insulate the substrate and delay loss of strength during hydrocarbon or jet fires.
Fastener and Bolt Coating
Plated or applied finishes on bolts, nuts, and studs, including electroless nickel, zinc, copper, and PTFE-based systems, to resist corrosion and galling and to control friction at threaded connections.
Internal Flow and Corrosion-Resistant Lining
Internal liquid epoxy, novolac, or phenolic coatings applied to the pipe bore to reduce internal corrosion, lower flow friction, and protect tubing handling produced fluids.
