Single BOP Stacks
A minimal configuration built around one preventer, typically a single ram or annular unit, used on lower-pressure or shallow operations where a single sealing barrier is acceptable.
Double BOP Stacks
A two-preventer arrangement, commonly an annular over a ram or two ram bodies, providing a second independent barrier and the ability to seal on more than one pipe condition.
Triple BOP Stacks
A three-preventer configuration, often an annular over two or three ram cavities, used where multiple ram functions (pipe rams, blind/shear rams) and redundant sealing are required for higher-pressure programs.
Surface BOP Stacks
Stacks installed at the rig floor or wellhead on land rigs and bottom-supported offshore units, with flanged or clamped connections and hydraulic or manual operation accessible at surface.
Subsea BOP Stacks
Stacks landed on the wellhead at the seabed for floating drilling operations, incorporating connectors, control pods, and an integrated frame, and operated remotely through hydraulic or multiplexed control systems.
Stack Spools and Adapters
Flanged spacer spools, drilling spools with side outlets, and crossover adapters that join preventers of different bore or connection sizes and provide kill and choke line takeoffs within the stack assembly.
Stack Support Frames and Skids
Structural frames, skids, and lifting/handling fixtures that support the assembled stack, manage its weight during make-up and transport, and align it for landing on the wellhead.
