Unions & Crosses

High-pressure hammer unions rated for roughly 10,000 to 15,000 psi cold working pressure with a metal-to-metal primary seal backed by an elastomer O-ring. Standard on frac, cementing, and choke-and-kill flowlines where high pressures and abrasive fluids are present.

Medium-to-high-pressure unions commonly rated around 6,000 psi with a metal-to-metal seal, used on flowlines, manifolds, and well-servicing lines. Frequently chosen where 1502 service pressure is not required.

Lower-pressure threaded hammer unions (Fig 100, 200, and 206 ranges) using elastomer or lip-type seals for standpipe, mud, and general flowline service at working pressures typically from about 1,000 to 4,000 psi.

High-pressure unions in the 10,000 psi class, used on heavy-wall flowlines and manifolds as an alternative to the 1502 figure where matching legacy connections is required.

Three-piece ground-joint or seal-ring pipe unions with male and female threaded ends and a tightening nut, used to connect lower-pressure utility and instrument piping where hammer make-up is not needed.

Four-way flowline fittings with hammer-union or flanged ends machined from a single forging, used on manifolds, frac trees, and standpipe assemblies to combine or split flow and add gauge, bleed, or kill connections.

API 6A flanged four-way and three-way fittings used on wellheads and choke-and-kill manifolds where flanged connections are preferred over hammer unions for higher-pressure or permanent service.

Unions and crosses manufactured from controlled-hardness materials qualified for hydrogen-sulfide-bearing fluids in accordance with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour well environments.
