Floating Ball Valves
The ball is held only by the two seats and shifts under line pressure to press against the downstream seat for shutoff, a simple design suited to smaller bores and lower pressure classes.
Trunnion-Mounted Ball Valves
The ball is fixed on upper and lower trunnion shafts so line pressure acts on spring-energized seats rather than the ball, reducing operating torque for large-bore, high-pressure pipeline service.
API 6D Pipeline Ball Valves
Trunnion or floating ball valves built to API 6D for pipeline and transmission isolation, typically full-bore to allow pigging and rated for high-pressure hydrocarbon transport.
API 6A Wellhead Ball Valves
Forged-steel ball valves built to API 6A for wellhead, Christmas-tree, and surface production service under severe pressure and sour-gas conditions.
API 608 Metal Ball Valves
Flanged, threaded, and welding-end metal ball valves built to API 608 for general isolation duty in refinery and process piping.
Two-Piece & Three-Piece Ball Valves
Bolted multi-section body designs that allow the valve to be split for in-line maintenance, seat replacement, and cleaning without removing it from the pipe.
Top-Entry Ball Valves
A single-piece welded or bolted body whose bonnet is removed from the top so internals can be serviced in line, valued where flange-to-flange removal is impractical.
Full-Bore Ball Valves
Valves whose bore matches the nominal pipe diameter, giving unrestricted flow and minimal pressure drop and allowing pigs and scrapers to pass for pipeline operations.
Actuated Ball Valves
Ball valves fitted with pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuators for remote, automated, or fail-safe quarter-turn operation in control and ESD systems.
Multi-Port Ball Valves
Three-way and four-way ball valves with an L- or T-bored ball that diverts, mixes, or selects flow between multiple ports from a single body.
