AKITA Drilling Ltd. is an intermediate North American land drilling contractor headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, operating a fleet of 32 high-specification drilling rigs across major resource basins in Canada and the United States. Founded in 1964, the company offers conventional and pad drilling services spanning all depth ranges, with approximately half its deep-capacity fleet consisting of self-moving pad rigs equipped with AC drive systems and walking or skidding capabilities. AKITA operates rigs rated from 80,000 daN to 1,250,000 lbs hook load with top drives up to 750 tons.
