BLUTEK S.r.l. is an Italian manufacturer specializing in the design and production of engineered turnkey skid-mounted packages for service air, instrument air, and nitrogen generation, serving both offshore and onshore applications. Founded in 2002 in Gorle (Bergamo), Italy, the company creates and assembles tailor-made skid units for adverse environments including offshore platforms, explosion-proof zones, and desert installations. BLUTEK's product range includes screw compressors (lubricated or oil-free, water or air-cooled, fixed or variable speed, with electric LV-MV motor or diesel engine), air dryers (adsorption, heatless/heated, heat of compression, membrane, and refrigerated), and nitrogen generators (PSA and membrane technologies). The company's packages are manufactured in compliance with major international standards including ASME, API, PED, and ATEX. BLUTEK has installed equipment worldwide across the oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, and marine sectors, with packages rated for operating conditions from -47C (Arctic) to +58C (desert). In October 2024, BLUTEK was acquired by Ingersoll Rand as part of a bolt-on acquisition for approximately $9.6 million, enhancing Ingersoll Rand's competitiveness in high-specification projects in sectors such as biogas and carbon capture.
