BREDA ENERGIA S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of high-technology equipment for the global oil and gas industry, with roots dating back to 1886 as Societa Italiana Ernesto Breda per Costruzioni Meccaniche. The company established its oilfield equipment division (BREDA FUCINE) in 1952 under government ownership, producing forged materials, wellhead equipment, valves, and drilling equipment. Following privatization in 1996, the company became an international multi-product manufacturer providing wellheads, Christmas trees, gate valves, ball valves, choke valves, check valves, HIPPS (High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems), and onshore, offshore, and subsea packaged systems. All products are manufactured 100% in Italy at high-tech facilities in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan). Breda Energia serves the energy transition market with solutions for geothermal energy, hydrogen gas (H2), and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). The company holds API 6A, API 6D, API 6DSS, and API 17D monogram licenses and is certified to ISO 9001, API Q1, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and PED 2014/68/EU.
