Cable Solutions Worldwide Ltd (CSWL) is a specialist cable distributor and service provider headquartered in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Founded in 2003 by Ricky Gill and Colin Fraser, the company designs and supplies custom cables, umbilicals, and top drive service loops for oil and gas, subsea, renewables, marine, and shipbuilding industries. CSWL holds exclusive European distributorship for Nexans AmerCable products, established in 2012. The company operates from a purpose-built 12,500 sq ft warehouse and yard facility in Inverurie, opened in 2019, and is the UK's largest stockist of NEK 606 cables. In 2022, CSWL was acquired by Aberdeen-based Dron & Dickson Group, a specialist in hazardous area electrical equipment. Services include custom spooling, cable splicing and termination, technical consultation, and global logistics. The company has produced over 50 km of bespoke subsea cables and serves clients across North Sea, Middle East, and international markets.
