CERTEX USA is a full-service distributor and fabricator of lifting and rigging products headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1948, the company operates approximately 35 branches across the United States, serving construction, mining, oil and gas, and general industrial markets. CERTEX distributes wire rope, chain slings, synthetic lifting products, hoists, shackles, blocks, and fall protection equipment from leading manufacturers including Crosby, Bridon, and Gunnebo-Johnson. The company also provides custom sling fabrication, wire rope inspection and testing, proof-load certification, rigging training, fall protection training, and industrial rescue courses. CERTEX operates two dedicated training facilities in Tucson, Arizona and Bakersfield, California. Acquired by Ascent Lifting (a Shorehill Capital portfolio company) in 2023, the combined entity operates 38 locations nationwide.
