Cleveland Machine Company, Inc. is a Texas-based manufacturer of Cameron-style oilfield valve components and wellhead equipment, founded in 1973 by David Clark and his father Sam Clark. The company specializes in manufacturing Cameron-style type 'H' back pressure valves and two-way check valves in sizes ranging from 1-1/4 inch to 6-11/16 inch OD in various trims, along with associated installation tools, removal tools, thread chasers/taps, and solid test plugs. All products are manufactured in-house at the company's Cleveland, Texas facility — Cleveland Machine explicitly does not resell other suppliers' valves. The company has been an API 6A licensed facility since 2005 and performs all hydrostatic testing in-house, with a system capable of reaching working pressures up to 31,900 PSI. Cleveland Machine Company is on the Approved Vendor List (APL) of several major wellhead and pressure control companies including TechnipFMC, BHGE (Baker Hughes), Weatherford, Streamflo Industries, and Cactus Wellhead. Jeff Lilley, who joined as a machinist in 1987 and later transitioned into management, acquired the company in 2013 following founder David Clark's death in 2011 and continues to serve as an ownership leader. The company has grown from a one-man operation into a high-tech machine shop producing precision oilfield valve components at competitive prices, holding inventory on most products to minimize customer lead times.
