Ducab

Ducab is a UAE-based manufacturer of copper and aluminium wire and cable products, founded in 1979 as a joint venture with BICC cables. Jointly owned by Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ) and Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), the company operates six manufacturing facilities across the UAE spanning over 920,000 square meters in Jebel Ali, Dubai and Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. Ducab produces over 110,000 copper-tonne equivalents annually of high-, medium-, and low-voltage cables, building wires, overhead conductors, copper and aluminium rods, and specialty cable solutions including PetroBICC for oil and gas, FlamBICC fire-resistant cables, MarineBICC for shipbuilding, NuBICC nuclear-rated cables, and SolarBICC for renewable energy installations. The company serves customers in 75+ countries across energy, construction, oil and gas, defence, rail transport, marine, mining, and automotive sectors. Ducab employs over 1,400 staff and has subsidiary AEI Cables in the United Kingdom. The Ducab Group comprises two business units: Ducab Cables Business (DCB) and Ducab Metals Business (DMB).
