Egyptian Petroleum HH Rig Manufacturing S.A.E Co. (EPHH)

EPHH (Egyptian Petroleum HH Rig Manufacturing) is an Egyptian-Chinese joint venture established in April 2007 in the Ain Sokhna Free Zone, Egypt, between Egyptian shareholders PETROJET, ENPPI, and Tharwa Petroleum and Chinese shareholder HongHua Group Co. (HH). EPHH is the only API-certified rig manufacturer in Egypt and North Africa, registered with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). The company achieved a landmark milestone in 2023 by manufacturing the first onshore drilling rig built with Egyptian hands at its Ain Sokhna factory. In 2022, EPHH signed a contract for local manufacturing of seven drilling rigs, with three completed in 2023. The facility integrates Egyptian expertise with Chinese engineering and offers comprehensive drilling solutions including rig manufacturing, equipment manufacturing, local fabrication, spare parts supply, rig audit, calibration services, and inspection/recertification/rebranding services. EPHH holds API Spec Q1, API 4F, API 5B, API 5CT, API 7-1, API 7-2, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
