FEBUS Optics

FEBUS Optics is a French manufacturer of distributed fiber optic sensing (DFOS) systems, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Pau, France. The company designs and produces DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing), DTS (Distributed Temperature Sensing), and DSS (Distributed Strain Sensing) interrogators used across oil and gas, geothermal, CCUS, pipeline monitoring, structural health monitoring, and seismic acquisition applications. FEBUS Optics employs approximately 60 people across offices in Pau, Paris, Houston (FEBUS Inc.), Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur. The company raised EUR 4 million in April 2025 from Thales Corporate Ventures and Pleiade Investissement. FEBUS Optics generates 75% of revenue internationally and inaugurated new headquarters in Pau in September 2025. ISO 9001 certified.
