Green Pin (Royal Van Beest)

Green Pin, the flagship brand of Royal Van Beest Group, manufactures rigging hardware and below-the-hook lifting components for offshore, construction, mining, and industrial applications. Founded in 1922 by Dirk van Beest in Sliedrecht, Netherlands, the company produces shackles, hooks, turnbuckles, swivels, lifting clamps, chain, sockets, and wire rope fittings across 18 product categories. Green Pin products are certified by Lloyd's Register, DNV, and ABS, with the company holding ISO 9001:2015 certification since 1993. The product range includes specialized lines such as the Polar series rated to -60C and subsea ROV-compatible fittings. In 2007, Van Beest acquired Forges de l'Eminee in France, adding the Excel brand which was consolidated under Green Pin in 2018. With approximately 170 employees and offices in the Netherlands, Germany, France, the United States, and Brazil, Green Pin serves the offshore oil and gas, aquaculture, logistics, construction, mining, and military sectors worldwide.
