Gulf Coast Repair and Machine Shop, Inc. is a Corpus Christi, Texas-based machine shop and repair facility founded in 1989 as a repair shop for the oil and gas sector. The company provides CNC machining, manual machining, precision machining, metal fabrication, welding, and phosphate coating services to oilfield and general manufacturing customers. Core capabilities include manufacturing wellhead components (hangers, pack offs, flanges, crosses and tees, bowl protectors, running tools), downhole tools, tubing packers, liner equipment, oilfield fishing tools, wireline equipment, snubbing equipment, and coil tubing/capillary parts. Machining equipment includes Okuma CNC lathes (up to 22-inch swing and 3-5/8-inch hollow spindles), an Okuma LB45 CNC lathe with 12.25-inch hollow spindle and 26-inch swing, an Okuma MCV machining center, Bridgeport vertical mills, engine lathes up to 30-inch swing with 144-inch centers distance and 12-1/2-inch hollow spindles, radial arm drills, and Cevalier surface grinders. Fabrication services include wellhead test cells rated to 15,000 psi/torque, risers, casing head washout buildup, pipe racks, skid platforms, and TIG/MIG/aluminum welding. Additional capabilities include tungsten carbide application, NDE testing, hardness testing, in-house gaging (Lone Star and Gagemaker MIC Trac), sandblasting, zinc phosphate coating, laser engraving (Epilog CO2 and Fibermark), and CAD/CAM drafting. The facility operates on 20 acres with 51,000 sq ft of combined buildings, plus an additional 14 acres held for future expansion. Notable customers have included Halliburton, Schlumberger, Weatherford, National Oilwell Varco, Baker Oil Tools, Cameron Wellhead, FMC, GE Oil & Gas, Cudd Pressure Control, Dresser Flow Control, and the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
