Julong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. (JLSP), founded in April 2000, is a joint venture established with investments from CNPC Bohai Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Located in Qing County, Hebei Province (within the Bohai Bay Economic Development Zone), the company specializes in production of JCOE large-diameter longitudinal SAW (LSAW) steel pipes. The company occupies 77,000 square meters with registered capital of 30 million USD. JLSP's imported advanced JCOE LSAW production line is the only one approved by CNPC to supply LSAW pipes for the West-to-East Gas Pipeline and other major national pipeline projects. The company participated in the national research task for domestic manufacturing of large-diameter gas-transporting pipes. Products have been sold to 29 provinces across China and exported internationally. JLSP also produces SAWL pipe, bends, pipe fittings, and provides external anti-corrosion coating services. The predecessor facility (Steel Pipe Works of North China Petroleum) has over 20 years of steel pipe manufacturing experience, occupying 1.99 million square meters.
