Mesa Machine is an oilfield machine shop with deep roots in the Permian Basin, founded in 1989 by Raul Garza. The company provides CNC machining, threading, manufacturing, and pumping unit repair services to the oil and gas industry from its facility in Odessa, Texas. Mesa Machine specializes in threading tubulars, BHA components and downhole tools; manufacturing tools and components for wellheads, well control and flow equipment; and repairing beam unit (pumping unit) bearing assemblies, gearboxes and structures. As an API Q1 Certified facility, the shop is staffed by trained machinists, certified welders, programmers, and AutoCAD draftsmen operating CNC drills, lathes and mills. The company is licensed to cut CET, Ptech, and Duo450 specialty threads and maintains a rigorous gauging procedure that exceeds API and industry standards. An extensive exchange inventory is available for pumping unit components to maximize production uptime.
