Nippon Steel Corporation's East Nippon Works (Kimitsu Area) is a major integrated steelworks in Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The Kimitsu works is one of Nippon Steel's largest heavy plate production facilities, producing API Spec 2W (2W-0002) certified TMCP offshore structural steel plate for offshore platforms, FPSO hulls, floating wind foundations, and other harsh-environment marine structures.
