Italian manufacturer of industrial electric motors founded in 1960 by Eros Orsatti in Brescia, Italy. OME designs and produces custom three-phase asynchronous motors in aluminum and cast iron from 0.18 kW to 60,000 kW, including standard low-voltage, high-voltage (up to 15,000 V), ATEX-certified explosion-proof (OMEX series), permanent magnet (IE4), DC, NEMA, GOST, smoke extraction, slip ring, and synchronous generator models. The company operates from three facilities in the Brescia province with additional presence in the UAE and China. OME serves oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, steel, cement, mining, and water treatment sectors with installations in over 100 countries. Major clients include Shell, Eni, ArcelorMittal, Samsung, and ThyssenKrupp.
