OMCD Group

OMCD Group is an Italian industrial group specializing in the design and manufacture of hard metal and tungsten carbide components through powder metallurgy sintering. Founded in 1948 by the Tedeschi family in the Verbano Cusio Ossola region of Piedmont, Italy, the group controls the entire production process from raw tungsten material refining through micro-finishing. OMCD operates through four companies: OMCD Tek Hub SpA (brands FILMS, Harditalia, Diamil, UGP, Celsia, HI.Lab), Scleros SpA, Dimotek Eood (Bulgaria), and Hardy Metalurgica Ltd (Brazil). For the oil and gas sector, OMCD produces wear-resistant tungsten carbide components including valve seats, nozzles, pump liners, drill bit inserts, choke valve disc stacks, mechanical seals, and custom-engineered hard metal parts. The group employs 100 to 249 people across its international facilities and serves global markets from manufacturing sites near Milan Malpensa Airport.
