P.T. Besmindo Andalas Semesta

P.T. Besmindo Andalas Semesta (BAS) is a member of the Besmindo Group, established in 1999 in Duri, Riau, Sumatra, Indonesia, serving the oil and gas industry in the Sumatera region. Founded amid Indonesia's political and financial crisis, BAS demonstrated commitment to supporting clients including PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia (now Chevron Pacific Indonesia), Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Weatherford, Bormindo, and Century Drilling. The company obtained its first API licenses in 2001 for API 5CT (5CT-0523) threader operations, and API 7-1 (7-1-0364) for Rotary Drill Stem Subs, Drill Collars, and Threading for Rotary Shouldered Connections. ISO 9001 Quality Management System certified since 2001, upgraded through 2008 and 2010 versions. In 2004, BAS was awarded API Spec 6A (6A-0701) license for threaded connectors, adapter and spacer spools. BAS has been appointed by MIGAS (Indonesia's oil and gas regulatory authority) as a BOP Repair Facility. In 2011, SJ Petroleum Machinery Co. (China) appointed BAS as its sole authorized service facility in Indonesia. BAS also holds the DPM-DS connection threading license from DP-Master Manufacturing, and provides corrosion-resistant hard-facing overlays with Stainless Steel 310, Stellite, or Inconel 625 on flanges. The facility is located on Jl. Duri–Dumai Km. 9 in Duri, Riau.
