P.T. SSE Van Der Horst Indonesia

P.T. SSE-Van Der Horst Indonesia (SSE-VDHI) is a specialized one-stop workshop for repair and remanufacture of oilfield, marine, and industrial equipment, established in 1991 in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. A joint member of the Van Der Horst Group Inc and Singapore Technology Marine Ltd, SSE-VDHI operates one of the best-equipped engineering services plants of its kind in Indonesia, with a total facility area of 9,000 m2. Core services include BOP (Blowout Preventer) repair, rental, and remanufacture certified under API 6A and API 16A for Annular and RAM (Single and Double) configurations; full-spectrum engineering services for oil and gas, marine, industrial, and power sectors; on-site engineering through VOSE (VDHI On Site Engineering); and spare parts supply including seals and gaskets. Workshop capabilities include shaft turning up to 7 m length and 800 mm diameter; vertical boring with up to 1.8 m turning diameter and CNC capability; industrial chrome plating with the largest plating tanks in Indonesia (5.5 m length, 1 m diameter, with special jobs up to 7.5 m); crankshaft grinding up to 8.5 m total length; horizontal boring with German-made Union HBM; honing of internal bores from 76 mm to 1000 mm up to 3 m length; roll grinding up to 800 mm diameter and 5 m length; pressure testing to 15,000 PSI; and in-house stress relieving furnace (2.5 m x 2.5 m, 30-ton capacity, 700 degrees Celsius). Inspection capabilities include Magnaflux, Ultrasonic Testing, Dye Penetrant, and full Metrology services. Material handling includes five overhead cranes up to 10-ton capacity and a 7-ton forklift.
