Premier Corex

Premier Corex is a subsurface rock and fluid analysis laboratory headquartered in Houston, Texas. Formed through the 2016 acquisition of Aberdeen-based Corex UK by Premier Oilfield Laboratories, the company operates eight laboratories across the United States, United Kingdom, Middle East, and North Africa. Services include routine and special core analysis (RCA/SCAL), PVT analysis, fluid evaluation, reservoir geology, geochemistry, rock mechanics, formation damage analysis, enhanced oil recovery (EOR/IOR) testing, and CCUS reservoir evaluation. The company also operates the Premier Sample Library in Midland, Texas, housing over 70 million geological samples from more than 150,000 wells in a 30,000-square-foot facility. Premier Corex employs advanced instrumentation including XRF, XRD, NMR, CT scanning, and SEM. The company is relocating its Houston headquarters to a purpose-built 60,000-square-foot rock and fluids laboratory near Houston's Energy Corridor.
