Reliance Oilfield Services is a wireline and cased hole services provider headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Founded in 2004, the company operates one of the largest wireline fleets in Western Canada, with conventional, rigless (mast), combination, pumpdown, and heli-portable units capable of deploying electric line, slickline, fiber optic, and greaseless lines. Reliance serves clients across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia, covering the full well lifecycle from initial completions through decommissioning. In 2016, the company acquired FMC Technologies' North American wireline assets, expanding to approximately 78 units and 200 employees across the U.S. and Canada. The company is owned by Edge Natural Resources LLC, a Dallas-based private equity firm, and operates alongside its U.S. counterpart Reach Wireline under the Edge OFS umbrella. Reliance employs approximately 176 people and generates estimated annual revenue of $154.7 million.
