SNF Holding Company is the US subsidiary of France-based SNF Group, the world leader in polyacrylamide manufacturing with approximately 40% global market share. Founded in 1978, SNF produces water-soluble polymers used across oil and gas, water treatment, mining, paper, and agriculture. The company operates 21 production sites worldwide with a combined capacity exceeding 1.4 million tonnes per year. US manufacturing is concentrated at three plants in Riceboro GA, Plaquemine LA, and Pearlington MS, with the Riceboro facility serving as the largest SNF production site globally with over 1,400 employees. SNF's oil and gas product portfolio includes friction reducers and HVFRs for hydraulic fracturing, polymers for enhanced oil recovery, scale inhibitors, drilling fluid additives, cementing chemicals, corrosion inhibitors, biocides, and production chemicals. The company also supplies municipal and industrial water treatment polymers through its Polydyne division. SNF employs approximately 7,500 people worldwide and sells products into more than 140 countries through 70-plus subsidiaries.
