Steel Forgings, Inc. is a leading American manufacturer of butt weld fittings for the oil and gas pipeline industry, founded in 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana by T.D. Sedberry and Fleet 'Blackie' Davis. For over 70 years, the company has produced its well-known Fleet-Line brand of pipe fittings including tees, saddles, reducers, caps, conicals, sleeves, and custom parts. Steel Forgings operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system maintained since 1999. All pressure-containing welds are performed by ASME Sec. IX qualified welders, with double submerged arc welded longitudinal seams. The company employs third-party NDE inspection per ASNT-TC-1A requirements and conducts yearly furnace uniformity surveys for heat treatment. Steel Forgings is a woman-owned business and serves major pipeline operators including Kinder Morgan, Enbridge, Spectra Energy, and Phillips 66.
