Stewart Tubular Products, LLC, operating as Stewart Precision, is a Houston-based manufacturer and threader of downhole tubular accessories and precision-machined components for the oil and gas industry. Founded in 1988 by Steve Samuel, the company operates from a 127,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility on a 15-acre property in Northwest Houston. Stewart maintains four full-length threading lines licensed for TenarisHydril, ULTRA, GB Tubular, Metal One, HIS, Precision, and LFS Technologies connections, as well as premium, semi-premium, and API threads. The company also provides complex machining services using 4-axis and 5-axis milling centers, horizontal machining centers, and CNC lathes to produce reamers, hangers, frac tools, crossovers, and other downhole components. Additional capabilities include swaging (up to 500 tons for casing through 14 inches), hydrostatic testing to 16,500 psi, magnetic particle and dye penetrant inspection, and zinc/manganese phosphate finishing. Stewart was acquired by Pelican Energy Partners in January 2024 from Aterian Investment Partners. The company holds API Q1, API 5CT, API 7-1, and ISO 9001 certifications with ITAR registration, and is pursuing AS9100 for aerospace and defense expansion.
