Swaim and Sons is a Bakersfield, California-based manufacturer that has been supplying the oilfield pumping industry since 1979. Over 45 years of operation, the family-owned company has grown from a local machine shop to an international supplier of subsurface sucker rod pump assemblies, components, and replacement parts for artificial lift rod pumping systems. The company holds API 11AX, API Q1, and ISO 9001 registrations, certifying its quality management system for the design and manufacture of subsurface sucker rod pump assemblies. Manufacturing capabilities include 17 CNC machines supporting a wide range of turning and milling operations, plus an in-house Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in the Quality Control office for reverse engineering and dimensional inspection.
