Founded in 1993 by Rex Shepperd and Stephen Edwards, and acquired in 2020 by John Potts and Shawn Sharp, TIOT has built over 30 years of expertise manufacturing and stocking hard-to-find oilfield tools and equipment for energy companies worldwide. The company operates under multiple brands including ConTech, Starr Power Tongs, and Petro Spark, and is the world's largest stocking distributor of STARR Power Tongs.
