Argentine manufacturer of industrial valves and fluid control systems, founded in 1977 (originally as MIVAL S.R.L., renamed Valmec S.A. in 1981). The company operates a 10,800 m2 manufacturing facility in Tortuguitas, Buenos Aires Province, equipped with over 50 CNC machines including multi-tasking Integrex centers, CNC lathes, and machining centers. Valmec specializes in ball valves, butterfly valves, check valves, gate valves, control valves, and special-purpose valves for the oil and gas, petrochemical, nuclear, and general industrial sectors. Production ranges from ASME 150 (20 bar / 290 psi) to ASME 2500 (420 bar / 6,100 psi) in sizes from 1/2 inch to 24 inches. The company holds API 6D (Monogram 6D-1417), API Q1 (Cert Q1-3303), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NAG 212, and SIL-3 certifications. With a workforce of approximately 100 employees, Valmec serves major clients including YPF and Techint, and has exported to Australia and other international markets. The company also operates a Centro de Soluciones Integradas (Integrated Solutions Center) in Neuquen province to support oilfield operations in the Vaca Muerta region.
