Viar Valvole Srl is a 100% Italian, family-owned company specializing in the design and manufacturing of ball valves and gate valves primarily for oil and gas applications. Founded in 1997 and based in Sumirago (Varese), approximately 50 km north of Milan, Viar Valvole grew from serving major Italian valve manufacturers to a global supplier with approvals from international EPC companies and end users. The company manufactures a broad range of forged-steel ball valves - side-entry, metal-seated, fully welded, top-entry, subsea, double block and bleed, high-performance, and cryogenic types - as well as slab and double-expanding gate valves. Products are manufactured to API 6D (ANSI/ASME Classes 150-2500, 1/2 in. to 60 in.), API 6A (Classes 3000-15000, up to 13-1/16 in.), and API 6DSS standards, and comply with PED 2014/68/EU and ATEX. The company holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, SIL 3, and GOST R certifications. Viar Valvole serves offshore, subsoa, upstream, midstream, cryogenic, carbon capture, salt cavern, and hydrogen applications worldwide.
