Wuhan Eastar Tool Company Limited (EASTAR) is a Chinese manufacturer of fixed-cutter drill bits and downhole tools based in the Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone, Hubei Province. The company traces its diamond drill bit operations to 1987 as part of the Jianghan Drill Factory and was formally incorporated around 2003. EASTAR designs and manufactures PDC matrix and steel body drill bits, hybrid drill bits, coring bits, PDC reamers, and torsional impactors for oil, gas, and mining drilling applications. The company operates with independently developed C-4 design technology, CAD/CAM software, drill bit hydraulic analysis tools, and well logging data analysis systems. Manufacturing capabilities include 5-axis and 4-axis CNC machining centers. EASTAR holds API 7-1, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certifications.
