Product Families
Full-Size (Class T) Couplings
Standard heat-treated couplings whose outside diameter and length follow API 11B full-size dimensions for a given rod size, used as the default joint in conventional tubing where clearance is not restricted.
Slim-Hole Couplings
Reduced outside-diameter couplings dimensioned for tighter rod-to-tubing clearance, allowing larger rods to run in smaller tubing or improving fluid flow past the joint in slim completions.
Spray-Metal / Surface-Treated Couplings (SM Class)
Couplings whose wear surface carries an applied hard coating such as sprayed metal or a hardfacing overlay to extend life against tubing wear in abrasive or deviated wells.
Reducing (Sub-) Couplings
Couplings machined with two different thread sizes so that rods of different diameters can be joined within one string, commonly used to transition between rod sizes in a tapered design.
Polished Rod Couplings
Couplings that connect the polished rod at the top of the string to the uppermost sucker rod, sized to the polished rod and rod pin threads at the wellhead.
Sucker Rod Pony Sub Couplings
Short connectors used with pony rods and accessory subs to fine-tune string length and to make up to pump and on-off connections at the bottom of the string.
Sour-Service / Corrosion-Resistant Couplings
Couplings manufactured from controlled-hardness alloy steel for service in hydrogen-sulfide environments, where reduced hardness and metallurgical control mitigate sulfide stress cracking.
