Protective Clothing

One-piece garments made from inherently FR or FR-treated fabric that self-extinguish and resist ignition during flash-fire and arc-flash events. Commonly specified to NFPA 2112 for upstream rig and process work.

Separates including FR shirts, work pants, jackets, and base layers worn alone or stacked to raise total thermal protection. Layering increases arc rating and flash-fire protection over single-layer coveralls.

Hand protection rated for resistance to slicing and laceration from tools, tubulars, and wire rope, typically built with high-performance yarns such as aramid or HPPE. Rated by ANSI/ISEA 105 (A1-A9) or EN 388 cut levels.

Tubular sleeves worn on the forearm to extend cut and abrasion protection above the glove cuff. Used on the rig floor and during pipe handling where exposed forearms face laceration risk.

Coated or laminated garments that resist permeation by hydrocarbons, acids, drilling fluids, and other chemicals during handling, transfer, and spill response. Selected by breakthrough and permeation testing for the specific chemical encountered.

Vests, coveralls, and jackets with fluorescent background and retroreflective striping that make workers conspicuous near moving equipment and traffic. Classified by ANSI/ISEA 107 into performance classes based on background and reflective material area.

Flame-resistant waterproof coats, bibs, and parkas that maintain ignition resistance while shedding rain, mud, and cold. Used in field operations where weather exposure coincides with flash-fire hazard.

Leather and treated-fabric jackets, aprons, and sleeves that resist sparks, spatter, and radiant heat during welding, cutting, and grinding on fabrication and maintenance jobs.
