Coiled Tubing Strings

Continuous strings rolled from high-strength low-alloy steel strip with a uniform wall along the length. They are the standard, lowest-cost choice for routine cleanouts, nitrogen kickoffs, and general intervention in non-corrosive wells.

Strings whose wall thickness increases in discrete or continuous steps from the downhole end toward the surface end. The thicker upper wall carries higher tension and surface loads, extending depth capability while keeping the lighter lower wall flexible.

Tubing formed from corrosion-resistant alloys for service in sour (H2S), CO2-rich, or high-chloride wells where carbon steel would fail. They are selected when fluid chemistry or extended-duration jobs demand resistance to cracking and pitting.

Strings produced from heat-treated, quenched-and-tempered material to achieve higher and more uniform minimum yield strength. The treatment improves strength-to-weight ratio and fatigue performance for deeper or higher-load intervention work.

Coiled tubing with one or more electrical conductors or fiber lines installed inside the bore, allowing simultaneous fluid circulation and downhole power, telemetry, or logging. They are used for real-time intervention, downhole tool actuation, and tractor-conveyed services.

Strings in the larger outside-diameter range used for high-rate fluid pumping, fracturing, and drilling-out plugs. The larger bore reduces friction pressure and increases circulation capacity for demanding operations.

Reduced outside-diameter strings used for slim-hole access, gas lift, chemical injection, and shallow cleanouts. Their lower weight and tighter bend radius suit smaller completions and lighter-duty units.
