CT Pressure Control Equipment

Ram-type blowout preventers with multiple cavities sized for the coiled tubing string, providing blind, shear, slip and pipe ram functions to seal, cut and hang off the tubing during emergency well control. Configurations include combi, quad and dual BOP arrangements rated for standard and sour service.

The dynamic sealing element that packs off around the moving coiled tubing at surface, allowing the string to be stripped in and out under pressure. Available in side-door, conventional and bushing-style designs with replaceable insert and energizing seals.

Pressure-rated tubular sections installed above the BOP stack that house the bottomhole assembly so tools can be deployed into or recovered from a live well without releasing pressure. Often supplied in modular lengths matched to tool string length.

Structural stands, riser skids and load frames that support the weight of the pressure control stack above the wellhead and stabilize it against operating loads. They provide working access and align the stack with the injector head and wellhead.

Flow tees, crossovers and flanged or threaded connectors that tie the pressure control stack to the production tree or wellhead and provide a circulation/flow path for returns and kill fluid during intervention.

Pre-engineered integrated stacks that combine BOP ram sets, stripper and lubricator into a single tested package matched to a specific tubing size and pressure rating, simplifying rig-up of the complete pressure control train.

Hydraulic power units, accumulator bottles and control panels that actuate the BOP rams and stripper functions, supplying stored hydraulic pressure for reliable closure independent of rig power.
