TEG Dehydration Units
Complete skid-mounted systems using triethylene glycol as the absorbent, the most common configuration for achieving typical pipeline water-dewpoint specifications. They integrate the contactor, regeneration, and circulation equipment as a packaged unit.
Glycol Contactor Towers
The absorber vessel where lean glycol contacts the wet gas stream, using bubble-cap or valve trays or structured packing to maximize gas-liquid contact. Water vapor transfers from the gas into the glycol as it counterflows down the tower.
Glycol Reboilers and Regeneration Systems
The reconcentration section that heats rich glycol to drive off absorbed water, restoring lean glycol concentration for recirculation. Includes the reboiler firetube or heat source, still column, and surge tank.
Glycol Circulation Pumps
Pumps that move lean glycol from the regeneration section back to the top of the contactor, commonly glycol-powered (Kimray-type) energy-exchange pumps or electric positive-displacement pumps. They set the glycol circulation rate that controls dehydration performance.
Enhanced Stripping and Reconcentration Systems
Add-on equipment such as stripping-gas columns, Drizo, or Coldfinger systems that raise lean glycol purity above what a reboiler alone achieves. Higher glycol concentration delivers lower outlet water dewpoints for demanding specifications.
BTEX and Vapor Recovery Systems
Overhead condensers, flash separators, and recovery units that capture benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, and methane vented from the regenerator. They reduce hydrocarbon emissions and recover flash gas for fuel or sales.
Filtration and Glycol Cleanup Equipment
Particulate cartridge filters and activated-carbon filters that remove solids and dissolved hydrocarbons from circulating glycol. Clean glycol prevents foaming, fouling, and heat-exchanger degradation.
