Gas Dehydration Units

Skid-mounted absorption units using triethylene glycol to absorb water from gas in a contactor column, then regenerate the glycol by boiling off water in a reboiler. The most widely used field dehydration technology for meeting pipeline dewpoint specs.

Pre-engineered, factory-assembled dehydration packages built on a single skid for rapid field installation at wellpads and gathering sites. Sized by gas throughput and inlet water content for plug-and-play deployment.

The regeneration section that heats rich glycol to drive off absorbed water and return lean glycol to the contactor. Includes the reboiler (direct-fired or heated), still column, surge tank, and reflux components.

Units that pass gas through fixed beds of molecular sieve, silica gel, or activated alumina to adsorb water, achieving very low dewpoints. Used ahead of cryogenic NGL recovery and LNG processing where glycol cannot reach the required dryness.

The trayed or packed pressure vessel where lean glycol flows counter-current to wet gas and absorbs water vapor. Sizing depends on gas flow rate, operating pressure, and target outlet water content.

Pumps, particulate and carbon filters, and heat-exchange components that move glycol through the loop and remove solids and hydrocarbon contaminants. Proper filtration extends glycol life and protects the contactor and reboiler.

A vessel placed on the rich-glycol stream to release absorbed light hydrocarbons and flash gas before the glycol enters the still and reboiler. Recovered gas can be used as fuel or routed to flare/recovery, reducing emissions and reboiler load.
