Line Heaters

Heaters in which a fire tube warms a liquid bath that transfers heat to process coils, keeping the flame isolated from the hydrocarbon stream. The standard configuration for hydrate prevention and choke heating at gas wellsites.

Indirect heaters using a water-glycol mixture as the bath medium to depress the freezing point and protect against freeze-up in cold climates. Common in northern and high-altitude onshore fields.

Line heaters sized and positioned to add heat upstream of chokes and pressure-reduction points, offsetting Joule-Thomson cooling so the gas stays above the hydrate formation temperature. Used heavily on high-pressure gas wells and gathering points.

Single heater vessels carrying multiple independent process coils so several wells or streams share one bath and burner. Reduces footprint and fuel use at multi-well pads and well headers.

Heaters built around removable U-shaped or serpentine process coils rated for full wellhead pressure, sized for a target flow rate and temperature rise. Coil pressure rating and surface area distinguish models for different well conditions.

Skid packages that pair a line heater with a separator (two-phase or three-phase) and often metering, so heating and initial fluid separation occur in one integrated unit. Common as a complete wellsite production package.

Engineered-to-order heaters and skids built to site-specific flow, pressure, fuel, and code requirements, including ASME U-stamped vessels and CSA B51 / ABSA registration. Used where standard catalog units do not match the duty.
