Surfactants

Thermodynamically stable surfactant-solvent blends that disperse into nanoscale droplets to drive deep interfacial tension reduction and improve load-fluid recovery after a frac. Used to reduce water blocking and increase post-treatment hydrocarbon production.

Surfactants that self-assemble into entangled wormlike micelles to build fluid viscosity without polymer, providing proppant transport and clean breaking. They thin on contact with hydrocarbons or on dilution, leaving low residual damage.

Surfactants formulated to prevent or break stable oil-water emulsions that can form when treatment fluid contacts crude. They protect formation permeability and ease separation of produced fluids.

Surfactants that prevent asphaltic sludge precipitation when acid or treatment fluids contact certain crude oils. Commonly paired with acid stimulation to avoid plugging of pore throats.

Surfactants that generate stable foam to unload accumulated liquids from gas wells or to create energized and foamed fracturing fluids. They lower the gas velocity needed to lift water and condensate from the wellbore.
